With over 20 year experience operating at major petro-chemical sites, Briggs Marine & Environmental Services has gained invaluable experience in the provision and training of mooring personnel.

The first of its kind, our Mooring Operative Training Programme has been designed by Briggs to improve professional standards and is suitable for both non maritime personnel wishing to train as mooring operators and experienced mooring operatives looking to develop and enhance their skills.

This unique course has been formulated to meet the strict accreditation criteria by City & Guilds and The Nautical Institute. It is based on IMO Ship / Port Interface Guidelines on minimum training and education for mooring personnel whilst maintaining flexibility to tailor key elements such as mooring equipment, emergency procedures and local geography to ensure we exceed the specific needs of our clients.
