Salvage Response

Getting to a salvage casualty early, with the correct skills and equipment, can make the difference between wet and dry salvage. Our rapid response equipment and operational footprint, with complementary services, allows Briggs to apply early intervention techniques to avoid a salvage casualty becoming a salvage catastrophe.

The Briggs fleet consists of heavy lift barges, capable of removing cargo from stricken vessels and supporting the wider operation. Briggs also operates a range of tug vessels capable of assisting a wide variety of deep sea salvage targets.

We operate the largest private oil spill response stockpile in the UK with teams constantly deployed on spill response. Our dedicated teams are experienced and apply their skills on a weekly basis with in excess of 500 oil spill call outs each year.
