Vessel uses area as trials support vessel in open anchorage in UK waters and as mooring vessel, transporting laying and recovery moorings, servicing mooring buoys, laying and recovery of navigation light buoys and operating with an attendant diving team in UK harbours and estuaries.

- Twin Cummins diesel KT19M engines rated at 425HP
- Propulsion units: Twin Aquamaster 360º units with Gastram Bow thrusters with thrust of two tonnes
- Main generators: two AC generators. Power 225KW, 440V 60 c/s
- Fitted with bow anchor/windlass capstan
- 2 x 17.5 tonne line pull NIM winches
- Fitted with bow anchor/windlass capstan and two stern anchors
- The vessel is fitted with full navigation aids including differential GPS for buoy positioning Marine crane can deploy equipment up to 10 metric tonnes at 10 metre radius over the side
