Apprentice Procurement Administrator - Burntisland



Location - Burntisland


An exciting opportunity currently exists to join Briggs, an expanding company specialising in the supply of Marine and Environmental services.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your role is to provide support for all aspects of the procurement and logistical function within the Company.

Principle Responsibilities;

  • Perform tasks in an efficient, professional and courteous manner
  • Source goods, materials and services as required by the organisation
  • Negotiate supplier pricing
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers as required to complete daily tasks
  • Preparation of purchase orders through Sage for issuing to suppliers
  • Place daily purchase orders
  • Controlling operational aspects related to locations, times and strategic planning for purchases
  • Assist with the preparation of departmental reports
  • Daily updating of purchase order data sheet
  • Work towards SVQ qualifications

As this is a Modern Apprenticeship, regular training will be provided with a great opportunity for long term employment and progression.

You will be an active communicator, self-motivated and a team player with the ability to promote ideas to increase efficiency.
