The Role
We are looking to recruit a Solutions Specialist to join the Group IT function in Burntisland, Fife. The Solutions Specialist will be responsible for designing, configuring, and customising SharePoint Online according to the company’s specifications. In this role, you will collaborate with business units to scope, project manage, develop and test SharePoint solutions that enhance business processes and facilitate collaboration across the organisation.
Principal Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing SharePoint portals.
- Create custom workflows to automate business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions that meet organisational needs.
- Provide SharePoint support and training to end-users and IT colleagues.
- Document development processes and ensure solutions are aligned with organisational compliance and security policies.
- Assist in maintaining and enforcing SharePoint governance policies.
- Conduct testing to ensure the functionality and stability of SharePoint solutions.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who is confident in their own skills and abilities, someone who can take a task and run with it whilst being able to stick within the parameters of a given scope. You must be a forward-thinking individual who embraces change and is willing to take on any challenge.
You will be required to have the following skills / knowledge:
- 3 or more years’ experience developing SharePoint online solutions within a fast-paced environment.
- 3 or more years’ experience developing and maintaining Power Automate flows.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
- Project Management experience
- Change Management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
