Last month Storm Babet caused a huge amount of disruption all over the UK.
Briggs’ Environmental team was called out by Aberdeenshire Council to deploy their Flood Defence barriers and 3 high-capacity pumps to protect houses in Kemnay from flooding.
The barriers and pumps need to be deployed within 4 hours of the call and as such, our team made their way through the horrific weather conditions, road closures and fallen trees and managed to arrive within the allotted time to set up the flood defence promptly.
Local residents kindly thanked our team for setting up the barriers with offers of tea and biscuits for the hard work carried out during the hostile weather.
