Since 2019, Briggs Marine, and Briggs Group Company, ARB WIND, has played a pivotal role in supporting the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind Farm - from early-stage pre-construction activities through to construction and now long-term operations & maintenance.

Within the scope of a few months, the Briggs Marine Environmental Team were asked to respond to two oil spills that took place in Fife, approximately 35 miles North of Edinburgh. The spills took place in two villages on the Firth of Forth, North Queensferry and Limekilns.

The Manchester Ship Canal, although a narrow waterway, cannot be serviced along its entire length by land-based assets. In almost all the major canal maintenance works, key activities are undertaken daily by the self-propelled crane barge, MSC Buffalo.

On 12th July 2017 the 185-meter-long, 25,293dwt vessel Kea Trader ran hard aground on a reef near the island of Maré in the Loyalty Islands.

Briggs Marine commenced working on shallow water cable repair solutions in association with Balfour Beatty T&D.
