Oil Spill Response to Fife
Within the scope of a few months, the Briggs Marine Environmental Team were asked to respond to two oil spills that took place in Fife, approximately 35 miles North of Edinburgh. The spills took place in two villages on the Firth of Forth, North Queensferry and Limekilns.
Docking And Refurbishment - MSC Buffalo
The Manchester Ship Canal, although a narrow waterway, cannot be serviced along its entire length by land-based assets. In almost all the major canal maintenance works, key activities are undertaken daily by the self-propelled crane barge, MSC Buffalo.

Kea Trader Emergency Environmental Response
On 12th July 2017 the 185-meter-long, 25,293dwt vessel Kea Trader ran hard aground on a reef near the island of Maré in the Loyalty Islands.

Repair to Tide Gauge in the Wash
In August 2015, a new tidal gauge was installed in The Wash, Lincolnshire, to help the Environment Agency measure tides, predict flooding and assess the impact of climate change more accurately.
