Efficient Practices to Meet Turnaround Times

Brigg’s Marine has a successful track record in both RoRo Ferry and associated terminal operations, currently serving one of the busiest ferry ports in the world at Dover.

Briggs successfully manages the Integrated Landside Operations (ILO) for Irish Ferries’ Dover operation, seeing up to 30 vessel arrivals and departures a day, in a 24/7 operation, within a 45-minute turnaround cycle.

As it is paramount that we operate as efficient and as safely as possible, our integrated landside operations are approved by Dover Harbour Board. • The linkspans need to be available for operation at all times regardless of state of draught, tide and wind.

Stevedoring

  • Marshalling of freight and passenger vehicles.
  • Stowage of cargo and liaison with vessel staff.
  • Loading/discharging of unaccompanied freight trailers
