🌟 Work Placement Spotlight – Manon Dubout at Briggs Marine Dover 🌟

As part of her studies, Manon recently joined our Dover operations team for a three‑week work placement. Having spent several summers working for SCANCO part of the Briggs Group , Manon arrived with a strong understanding of ferry operations.

During her placement, Manon supported vessel turnaround activities, assisting both our tourist and freight check‑in teams with customer service, passport and travel document checks.

At the UK’s busiest ferry port, Manon also processed bookings, spent time with our vessel loading teams and helped marshal customers ahead of boarding.

Opportunities like this reflect the close working relationship between Briggs Marine and SCANCO, where expertise, knowledge and experience are shared across both businesses.

We’re pleased to have welcomed Manon to Dover and wish her every success in the next stage of her studies and career.
